As part of this discussion, the Nursery Committee felt it would be a good idea to solicit input from the congregation about what you would like to see happen with the nursery. To that end, we've prepared a brief questionnaire below. If you have a few minutes, could you please respond to this email with your answers and comments? I will then compile the responses and we'll use this info as we attempt to discern how best to handle our growing congregation's nursery needs. Thanks in advance for your help! - Jeff Schmidt FLC Nursery Options Questionnaire 1. We have several options for staffing the nursery on Sunday mornings - ranging from minimal volunteer staffing to a paid position. Please rank in order of preference the following options: A) No staff - parents simply stay with their children when they need to use the nursery B) FLC volunteers staff the nursery - different attendants week to week. C) Paid staff member available on Sunday mornings 2. If we went with a volunteer nursery - how often would you be willing to serve on Sunday Mornings, and for which service(s) (8:00 AM or 11:00 AM)? 3. If you would like to have someone staffing the nursery, please rank in order of importance to you when you would like this person to be available: (A) During First Service (8:00 AM) (B) During Education Hour (9:30 AM) (C) During Second Service (11:00 AM) 4. If you have children and plan to use the nursery, would you ever consider leaving your child with a nursery attendant or other parents, or do you prefer to remain with your child? 5. How do you feel about the state of the nursery space and in what ways do we need to improve the facilities? What 3 items (such as furniture, toys, games, etc.) would you put on a nursery 'wish list' for replacing / upgrading / adding to the nursery? 6. Would you be interested in participating in a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Program at FLC, and if so, would you be interested in having a paid staff person available for childcare during these meetings? For more info on MOPS, please check out www.MOPS.org or contact Jen Hartmann at jnnfrhartmann@yahoo.com. 7. Any other concerns or suggestions about the nursery and how it can better serve the parents and visitors at FLC? _____________________________________________________________ Click to learn about options trading and how to make more money from the pros. http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2121/fc/Ioyw6i3m5bjL7PhitiGz5aGBqela1Z0W6FDfnsDzbNw6kfvC79JY4P/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
