Please consider joining the FLC choir in preparing anthems for the first three Sundays in Advent. We have openings for sopranos, altos, tenors, basses, and those who don't know what they like to sing, but know that they like to. We will be singing a beautiful arrangement of "Wake, Awake for Night is Flying" for the December 3 service -- in German -- and will prepare an anthem each for the following two weeks. Rehearsals will be Wednesday nights for about 45 minutes following the Advent evening service, concluding about 8:30 p.m. We then meet at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning to sing at the second service. The church is already hosting several events that day and a tree trimming will only add to the fellowship. Christmas trees and poinsettias will be delivered to the church and we are requesting help with some very easy decorating of trees, placing of poinsettias and a little cleaning.
