A quick reminder; we have a group gathering at 1PM this Saturday, Dec 2
to put up Christmas trees and decorate them. We've already assembled a
hearty group for this purpose, but more are always welcome so feel free

Hello all you helpers,

 

Thanks very much for your help in readying the church for Christmas. It
looks great and despite a fallen tree and a poinsettia fallen down the
a/c duct we had no major incidents. In fact, the list of tasks
accomplished was quite long.

 

-cookies were baked for the homebound members of the congregation

-altar expertly prepared

-outside wreaths hung

-poinsettias placed

-inside advent wreath placed and decorated

-upstairs and downstairs trees placed and decorated

-upstairs tree propped up after unplanned fall (thanks Pr. Riss)

-light bulbs changed in sanctuary

-votives places

-missing rubber stoppers replaced on pew kneelers

-probably other important tasks that I am forgetting.

 

Pastor, can you thank the confirmands. They were experts in the field of
Christmas Tree ornamentation.
